Take a city walk

  1. Choose a city and places

Open a city. Use categories for architecture, parks, museums and viewpoints, or search by name. Select a place to read the description and see its position.

  2. Pick a walk

The Walks tab includes distance, estimated time, terrain and access notes. “Stops” moves the map through the route; it does not track your location.

  3. Take the route with you

Open Google or Yandex Maps, or download GPX. Long walks are divided into connected parts. GPX preserves the displayed track; other maps calculate their own route.

  4. Keep your progress

Mark walks completed and save favourites. Everything stays in this browser. In Walks, open “Back up or transfer progress” to download a JSON file, import it on another device or delete your marks.

Cities available

Without a working map

City lists, descriptions, route exports and progress remain usable if map tiles fail. You need an internet connection to load city data initially. walkymap is not an offline navigation app.
