At the theatre, begin with the urban setting: look at how the building relates to its square and adjoining streets. Continue towards the colonnades, noticing the change in scale as façades and intersections give way to alleys and open space.
The colonnades make a useful pause before the waterfront section. Try a close view of the repeated columns and a wider view of their position beside the paths. A photograph does not require standing in the middle of a passage.
