Give the bazaar its own pause
Chorsu’s dome is an exterior landmark above the trading passages. Inside, individual market sections can be explored separately. The marker represents the large market and does not require following every branch between stalls and exits
Shopping or eating needs a separate pause. Price and purchase terms need agreement in advance, and photographs of vendors need permission. The outside landmark and next mapped building help with resuming the walk instead of navigating directly from unfamiliar market rows
Compare three different building scales
At Kukeldash, step back far enough to see the whole portal, then compare its upright composition with the market’s broad dome. Give neighbouring Khoja Ahror Mosque a distinct pause while keeping the approach clear for worshippers. Entering prayer rooms or teaching spaces is not necessary to appreciate the buildings and the spaces around them
The circus gives another purpose to a domed building. Its street view and approach can be compared with Chorsu. Connections include kerbs, market passages and urban pavements, with possible steps at the madrasah. Designated crossings are needed; an open-looking area is not necessarily a public shortcut

Before the walk
- Keep shopping separate so it does not displace the architectural stops
- Reorient outside the market before continuing to the next point
- Check circus performance tickets separately from this walk
Check hours, tickets and access with each venue. Barriers may change the track and queues may add time. Accessibility has not been surveyed on site
Questions before the walk
Is this a food tour?
No. The bazaar is part of the route as a trading and architectural space. Food is optional; no specific stall or dish is required
Can Khast Imam be added to the walk?
Yes, as a separate stage. It is another ensemble with its own walk; the journey between the two is not included in the Chorsu route
