At the National Museum, decide whether you want an interior visit today or simply to understand where the building sits. There is no need to enter out of obligation if you intended a light walk. If the collection interests you, give it a separate block of time before assessing what remains for the streets outside.
On Knez Mihailova, look above shop signs to compare the rhythm of the façades. The Ethnographic Museum introduces a different focus: traditional culture and everyday life. When choosing a single museum, follow your interests instead of counting completed stops. A short walk between two collections is not an estimate of the time needed to explore them.
Notice the neighbourhood transition
Use Academic Park as a pause between the museum section and the following streets. Look at how greenery, pavements and surrounding buildings share the space. Near Bajrakli Mosque, the religious landmark reveals an older layer within present-day Dorćol. Entry to its courtyard or interior depends on the rules in place when you visit.
After the broad pedestrian centre, keep paying attention on ordinary streets because the route includes road crossings. The overall difficulty rating does not verify every kerb or approach. This walk was prepared remotely without an on-site check. If you want to continue to the Danube, plan that separately: the waterfront lies outside this sequence and requires additional time.

No. It introduces part of the neighbourhood close to the pedestrian centre. Lower Dorćol, industrial spaces and an extended waterfront walk are not included.

Yes, as an introduction to streets and exterior landmarks. Use the museum buildings to orient yourself and spend more time observing the surrounding city.
