Freedom Square to the baths

From Freedom Square, continue to Gabriadze’s tower and Anchiskhati, then through the old streets to Sioni. Keep the passage clear at the tower; the theatre and a performance need separate time

Continue through Meidan to the sulphur baths. Chreli Abano is an exterior stop; book bathing separately. The climb to Narikala and access to Leghvtakhevi Waterfall are outside the track

Cross to the opposite bank

From the baths, return towards the river crossing at Metekhi. A short climb leads to the church. The viewpoint overlooks the neighbourhood visited in the first part

Descend towards Rike and cross the Bridge of Peace towards Erekle II Street. The final section returns to Freedom Square. Use designated crossings over the embankment roads

Plan the length of the visit

Allow time for both banks on the full loop. Paving, steps and the Metekhi climb make the calculated 70 minutes a walking estimate without sightseeing stops

Choose a church, theatre or bath for one indoor visit. Several such stops significantly extend the overall outing

Finish at the bath district after Meidan. Metekhi, Rike, the Bridge of Peace and the return to Freedom Square are outside that shorter version

Is the cable car needed?

No. The route crosses the river by bridges. The cable car and upper Narikala area are not required

Is there a confirmed step-free version?

No. This track has not been verified as step-free; pushchair or limited-mobility access needs a separate passage check
