From the drama theatre to White Bim
Start at the historic Koltsov Theatre building. Continue towards Revolyutsii Avenue and the puppet theatre, where the White Bim monument stands
The sculpture is at street level. Step aside from the main pedestrian flow to pause and keep the theatre entrance clear
The museum and public squares
Continue along Revolyutsii Avenue towards Kramskoy Museum. Its official address is 18 Revolyutsii Avenue. Use the address and entrance signs to distinguish it from neighbouring institutions
After the museum stop, continue to the Peter I monument in Petrovsky Square, then towards Annunciation Cathedral. Use designated crossings over the wide streets between stops
Choose one indoor visit
Check Kramskoy Museum’s current exhibitions and tickets for an indoor visit. A performance or a cathedral service needs separate planning; the track covers exterior approaches
For a shorter version, finish in Petrovsky Square. The waterfront and Goto Predestinatsia belong to another walk, requiring extra time for a descent and return climb
Map and stops
The numbered markers match the stops below. A marker does not guarantee an open entrance
Access · 1, 3, 5: Approach or exterior view; admission to the interior is not confirmed
Access · 2, 4: Use available pedestrian paths and crossings; account for barriers and surface conditions

Before the walk
- Choose one exhibition or performance to extend the outing
- Follow the museum entrance signs
- This walk links the theatre quarter with a museum courtyard and green pauses. White Bim is a small street-level sculpture, easy to miss if you only look at façades. The cathedral finishes the exterior walk; museum visits and services need their own time
Check hours, tickets and access with each venue. Barriers may change the track and queues may add time. Accessibility has not been surveyed on site
Questions before the walk
How does this differ from the waterfront walk?
This route focuses on architecture and cultural sites in the upper centre. Admiralty Square and the museum ship are outside the track
Can everything be seen in 35 minutes?
35 minutes is the calculated moving time. Facade stops, photographs, road crossings and indoor visits require additional time
