After Maiden Tower, the walk reaches the waterfront and Mugham Center. Notice the change from a compact historical landmark to more open surroundings around contemporary buildings. Begin with silhouettes before moving closer to a selected façade, rather than chasing every possible viewpoint.
At the Carpet Museum, the rolled-carpet form connects the exterior directly with the collection’s theme. Separate your architectural pause from an exhibition visit. If entering, reassess the time remaining for the ascent; a substantial museum visit can become the day’s principal experience.
