At the circus, find an exterior viewpoint on the round building and notice its position above Heroes Square. Stop somewhere safe before studying it, so you are not dividing attention between architecture and traffic. At King David, compare the two towers and their shared outline: the emphasis shifts to a vertical landmark seen from the surrounding streets.
The former Adjara Hotel, now Holiday Inn, gives you another tall volume to compare with King David. Pick one feature: window rhythm, proportions or treatment of the lower floors. Use those features to distinguish the towers. Do not assume a hotel, residence or business complex has a freely accessible viewpoint inside.
Horizontal volumes at the finish
The former Ministry of Roads dates from 1975 and is used by the Bank of Georgia. From a public exterior viewpoint, identify its intersecting horizontal blocks, then follow the open spaces between them. After the earlier towers, this arrangement becomes particularly striking. Compare the overall composition with the parts that are harder to understand when viewed in isolation.
Allow proper time for the connections: Heroes Square, 26 May Square and the Gagarin area require careful route choices. Do not cross traffic directly for a better photograph. Long pavements and modest changes in height can be tiring despite the small number of stops. If you only want the final building, plan a separate journey and exterior visit there.
