Start at the Apollo

View the theatre façade on 125th Street. The historic auditorium is closed for renovation; check the Apollo website for reopening updates. Continue to the Schomburg Center

Climb towards Hamilton’s house

Continue to St. Nicholas Park and Hamilton Grange. Alexander Hamilton’s house was relocated here for preservation. Plan the exhibition and interior visit separately

Reach the colonial mansion

The final section reaches Sylvan Terrace and Morris–Jumel Mansion. Wooden houses and the colonial mansion reveal another scale of Manhattan. Residential stoops and courtyards are outside the walk
